Communications Internship - Europe Analytica

Europe Analytica, an award winning independent Brussels-based public affairs consultancy specialising in the cultural,creative and digital industries, is looking for an intern to assist with the day to day communications of the company and its clients. It will be of benefit particularly for anyone who seeks professional experience related to communications and event organisation and who is interested in the developments in media, cultural and digital policy.
The internship offers the possibility to learn about the work of Europe Analytica and its range of clients in the cultural and digital sphere, especially the advocacy and communication actions in Brussels. It also offers the opportunity for interns to hone their writing, editing, design and website development skills.
The role will involve:
Take the initiative in proposing communications strategies
Execute communication campaigns over social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) under the supervision of EA consultants.
Drafting updates and articles for websites and newsletters.
Drafting press releases
Managing and updating websites
Management of social media accounts
Supporting the organization of events for Europe Analytica and its clients (press events, conferences, meetings, etc).
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a relevant university degree programme (communications, journalism, media studies, etc)
Fluent English (preferably native) with knowledge of at least one other EU language
Professional and/or academic experience in digital communications.
Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Computer literacy; knowledge of Microsoft Office, GSuite and social media managing platforms
Positive attitude, flexible, team player, sense of humour
Knowledge of graphic and web design tools is an asset (Adobe Creative Suite, Gimp, Wix, Canva, Wordpress etc.
